Pencil collage drawing construction to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima (1945)-- a brutal USMC amphibious assault to capture the heavily fortified Japanese island. It resulted in roughly 6,800 U.S. deaths and 19,200 wounded, standing as the single bloodiest battle in the history of the Marine Corps
