Solovey composed this original watercolor painting to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of 9/11 specifically for a private, American transportation company.
The final image was used as part of tractor trailer fleet "wrap" in order to spread a positive, inspiring, & patriotic across America.
Solovey only produced & released a very small set of 47 Artist Proofs.

"American 250th" 2026
This historical lineage collage in watercolour on canvas to celebrate America's 250th.
Featured are Gen. George Washington, Betsy Ross, Paul Revere, & Benjamin Franklin. Allusions are made to our US Army, Navy, & Marine Corps as well as the Green Dragon Tavern where the Boston Tea Party was planned. Also included are the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, & the "Join or Die" 13-section Snake design to emphasize Colonial Unity.
All 76 Artist Proofs sold-out immediately upon release. Design was used as a patriotic tractor trailer fleet "wrap" owned by the Bennett Family of Companies. Additionally, Heritage Distilling Co. offered a bespoke high-end batch of whiskey incorporated Solovey's 250th fine art in 2026.

"This We'll Defend" 2025
From this Original watercolor on canvas, only 25o Artist Proofs & 250 Prints were produced in support of the US Army's 250th Birthday in the Summer of 2025. Solovey also produced were a very limited & bespoke set of 2" Commemorative Coins. The US Army Center of Military History used this image on the cover of their official 250th publication.
This watercolour features a Revolutionary War Militia Soldier, a wounded WWI "Doughboy", a WWII 82nd Airborne Paratrooper, a Vietnam-era Infantryman, and a Modern-day Soldier.

"On the 8th Day..." 2025
From this original pencil drawing, only 82 Artist Proofs & 911 Prints were produced in late 2025 after the base's name was changed back to Ft. Bragg in early 2025.
This particular pencil collage features to the storied history of the 82nd Airborne Division during World War II. It also features a Green Beret Senior NCO in Vietnam as well as modern renditions of Special Operations Forces & Paratroopers. Included is an allusion to a redeploying Paratrooper at "Green Ramp" as he reunites with his wife. The American Flag deliberately has a hint of color. Finally, the iconic, dark brown Ft. Bragg sign is also highlighted.

This historical lineage pencil collage captures the history, lineage, & significant US Army weapons and iconic platforms beginning with the Revolutionary War up through present-day. Allusions are made to Samuel Sharpe, early Colonial-era accoutrements, & different eras such as Vietnam, Desert Storm, & GWOT.

Original pencil collage. Solovey had the honor when asked to compose this historical lineage collage for the WW II-era, African-American "Triple Nickel" Parachute Infantry Battalion (1943-1947).
17 of the original 20 Black Paratroopers transferred over from the 92nd Infantry (Buffalo) Division. Upon deactivation, unit members transferred to 3rd Bn, 505th PIR, 82nd Airborne Division.
From this original, only 25 Artist Proofs & 555 Prints were produced.

"Reloaded" 2020
Original pencil collage Pencil collage partially inspired by the iconic 2004 "Reload" 3SFG(A) Afghanistan after Solovey's second combat deployment; upon releasing this lithograph, he deployed again for a JSOTF billet.
The intent of "Reloaded" was a broader US Special Forces themed approach alluding to other than GWOT missions between Iraq & Afghanistan. Slight hints of color are used.
Included are some Vietnam Senior NCOs in OD Green & Tiger Stripe uniforms as well as an SF Sniper using an M-14 during Operation Desert Storm wearing "Chocolate Chips" BDUs. Modern allusions were also made to forward-deployed CJSOTFs, and JSOTFs. The 30 Artist Proofs sold-out immediately.

In early Spring 2020, the vast majority of Americans were sent home to begin teleworking. The paradigm had shifted in a very surreal manner. The operation environment had changed almost immediately.
During the March & April timeframe, Solovey composed the following to not only capture an historical-first, but to also to highlight the tremendous efforts of our American Medical Community, National Guards, US Army Corps of Engineers, and especially, Nurses across the entire Country

"Providing Comfort & Mercy" COVID 19 2020

In the Spring of 2020, the two US Hospital Ships, "Comfort" and "Mercy" were activated and deployed to the east and west coast of the United States to help combat the effects of COVID 19.
Solovey composed the following collage to commemorate this historic deployment & to personally donate a total of 250 lithographs to each ship & its enlisted crews. Already stationed in Norfolk, Va, Solovey had the personal opportunity to meet the Captain & Crew of the USHS Comfort and deliver the donated prints.

Historical lineage collage to celebrate our US Army Medics. Allusions to World War II are made with the iconic Willys Jeep converted into a Field Litter Ambulance. The centerpiece features a Vietnam-era Medic tending to a wounded Soldier.
The reminder of the collage draws heavily from both early and late Afghanistan & Iraq combat deployments for both Convention and SOF operations.
From this original, only 68 Artist Proofs were produced.

Solovey's historical lineage collage offering for the US Army Nurse Corps. First of its kind. This illustration began with extensive research tracing the birth of the Nurse Corps to the early 1900s.
Depictions begin with World War I to World War II. Subtle allusions are made to the Korean War with the iconic Bell Helicopter Air Ambulance & wooden hometown signs made famous in the TV Series MASH. The work continues by including a stretched Jeep Ambulance. The modern era is covered by Vietnam, Desert Storm, Afghanistan, & Iraq (OEF, OIF, OND, & OIR).

At the request of the US Army Engineer Association, Solovey was asked to compose a bespoke pencil collage.
It would specifically highlight the designing & construction of prominent structures in Washington D.C. such as the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Pentagon, and the Arlington Memorial Bridge. Several other historical allusions are made dating back to the US Civil War.
The original was completed & mailed from Naples, Italy. When it arrived at the print shop in Virginia, this original was heavily damaged & wrinkled. It was re-flattened and ironed over thick towels. The remaining folds & wrinkles were electronically erased to produce the subsequent set of lithographs.

By 2017, Solovey's combat experiences & deployments were substantial, but he had never fully captured the "Muddy Boots" emotional perspective of assisting & rendering aid to fellow wounded Soldiers in the midst of close combat.
"My Brother's Keeper" takes a historical approach beginning with World War II in Europe & then proceeds up through Korea, Vietnam, & then Iraq & Afghanistan. It also features both Combat Lifesavers & line Medics.

In 2016, Solovey completed his third bespoke piece for 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne). This college was specifically for 2nd Battalion deliberately designed to reflect a Viking & Nordic tradition.
The collage also alludes the battalion's deployments beginning with Operation Desert Storm up through Operation Inherent Resolve.

Included are Gen. George C. Marshall '01, Break-out Hill, the Rat Challenge Obstacle Course, Band Company in Scottish Garb, Athletics, and the addition of the third barracks. The captured Union Cannons of Matthew, Mark, Luke, & John and the iconic Rat Sentinel are also included.

First pencil collage (of two) focusing on the founding of VMI in 1830 as the Nation's First Senior Military College up through the World War I era.
Included are the "Old Hospital" which now serves as the Chaplain's office, the Battle of New Market Mural within Jackson Memorial Hall, Virginia Mourning Her Dead, the original "Limits Gates", Lt. George C. Marshall, and Cadet Cavalry.
Also featured is how the original VMI barracks existed during the 1800s with the statue of Gen. George Washington in front of it.

During Solovey's OIF deployment working with the 135th ESC, a request was made to produce the first historical lineage collage for the unit.
The unit stood-up during WW I within the "Rainbow Division" as Company K, 4th Infantry Division. During WW II, the unit served in the Pacific Theater. It would later deploy in support of GWOT to both Afghanistan & Kuwait.

During Solovey's deployment to Kuwait , the 371st Sustainment Brigade requested a historical lineage print for their unit.
The 371st stood up during WW I as an Artillery Brigade & then re-flagged into an Anti-Artillery Group for WW II. It would later deploy to both Iraq & Afghanistan as a Sustainment Brigade in support of GWOT.

After the success of his first SOCAF lithograph, he was once again asked to complete another lithograph set. The final collage used a portrait format & featured a colored centerpiece.
This collage focuses on the joint SOF activities in support of the African Continent.

Pencil collage for the 3rd Special Forces' Group Support Battalion (Airborne). This was the first GSB established within the Regiment. As a 3rd Group alumni, Solovey was asked to compose this deployment collage for the unit.
Imagery used was primarily from prior combat deployments to Afghanistan. The CJSOTF-A crest is also included as well as an allusion to the ANA Commandos.

As a CGSC Student (Class 01-09) at Ft. Leavenworth, Solovey submitted the following painting as a proposal for the yearly class gift competing against other civilian military artists.
Ultimately, the CGSC Foundation selected his work and privately commissioned a set of lithographs.
This painting reflects the joint student body as well as allusions to deployed 9/11 combat service as well as historical & iconic military implements.

"RE-UP" is the 2nd of three total lithographs produced for 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne).
During this period of time uniforms were transitioning from the Desert Camouflage uniforms (DCUs) to the new digital pattern (UCPs). However,
the Coyote Tan body armor & helmets were still being wore from the initial GWOT equipment issue.
Solovey composed this recruiting poster to emulate the style of World War II poster art.

The following pencil collage depicts combat operations in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and includes the use of kinetic UAVs as well as the ANA Commandos. Iconic pencil illustration of a typical, desert-tan, "soft-skin" HMMWV from the 82nd Airborne Division prior to later GWOT full-scale armor modifications.
Shortly after 9/11 as OEF rotations began, many units began to organically add light armored plates to their existing HMMWV fleets. Eventually, heavier-duty applications were made.
