Historical lineage pencil collage for the 801st Brigade Support Battalion during their OEF deployment in Afghanistan.  The unit began as the 801st Airborne Ordnance Maintenance Company in 1942;  It activated at Ft. Bragg, NC and then prepared for combat in Normandy, France.  The unit later served in both Vietnam & during Desert Storm.  Most recently, the 801st deployed to both Iraq & Afghanistan during GWOT
