WORLD WAR II ART
Welcome to the World War II section. Although many of Solovey's military lithographs often allude to previous eras, wars, & conflicts, this section is specifically to honor our Greatest Generation.
In 2025, Solovey had the unique opportunity and honor to support the 80th Anniversary of D-Day. In collaboration with Heritage Distilling Co, a three-bottle whiskey set was produced, and Solovey's fine art was used as original label art for each of the bottles (US Army, US Army Air Corps, & US Navy).
As part of the initiative, he also produced a very limited Artist Proof release that depicted the United States Joint effort, entitled, "To the Guns". Very limited amounts of these WW II fine art lithographs still exist. These are perfect collectables for WW II historians & enthusiasts
"To the Guns" 2025
This joint, historical lineage collage illustrates the combined efforts of the three participating service branches during D-Day. Each lithograph is also embossed with an "80" surrounded by a 5-Star General Rank that was exclusively used with this very limited set of Artist Proofs.

"Into the Smoke & Fire" 2022
Solovey had the honor when asked in composing this historical lineage collage for the WW II-era, African-American "Triple Nickel" Parachute Infantry Battalion (1943-1947). 17 of the original 20 Black Paratroopers transferred over from the 92nd Infantry (Buffalo) Division. Upon deactivation, unit members transferred to 3rd Bn, 505th PIR
