Solovey's artist career began in the 1990s & has blossomed over the past three decades to the point of constant projects and established demand across the Nation---especially within the US Military. This portion of the website is to showcase some of the charitable highlights, events, and past press releases.
A Humbling Homecoming with Fellow Veterans
Upon retirement, Solovey was honored to serve as "Veteran of the Day" at the York, PA, York Fair to honor and visit fellow Veterans & support their non-profit organizations. During the visit, he was presented with a framed American Flag that flew over the US Capital on July 4th, 2026.

Growing up, Solovey attended Dover Elementary School & York Suburban High School.

During OEF I in AFG with 2nd BN, 3rd SFG(A) "Bush Hogs", Solovey called back to York Harley Davidson. They sent an HD Flag which flew over the Firebase​ in 2002-2003.

Supporting the Nation with bespoke, high-end Spirts
After nearly one year of planning, artistic concepts, and design work, Solovey and the Veteran-owned Heritage Distilling Co. produced the following heirloom offering across America with overwhelming demand whilst also supporting the USO. First and only of its kind.

Teaming up to support National Patriotism
In 2026, Solovey teamed-up with fellow Veterans at The Bennet Family of Companies
and donated his fine art imagery to support "wrapping" a fleet of tractor trailers. These trucks are now travelling the country and delivering logistics support every day with a great message in time for America's 250th Birthday.
Black Tie Military Charity Gala, November 8th 2025, Richmond, Va
In late 2025, the Va War Memorial asked Solovey to display roughly 50 of his best framed pieces from November 2025 through May 2026. With this tremendous honor, Solovey decided to also organize and host a by-invitation-only, charity gala to not only privately open the gallery, but to host his closest mentor, colleagues, & family to raise substantial proceeds to primarily support the Army Special Operations Association (ARSOA).

The event drew-in several hundred guests coming together to enjoy comradery & fellowship, heavy hors d'oeuvres, and spirits. The event lasted several memorable hours and quickly reached standing room only. Select speakers shared humorous, deployed "War Stories" followed by Solovey presenting flowers of appreciation to the spouses on his many past mentors. Solovey also donated two framed lithographs (Prints #1) to auction raising several more thousands of dollars. The event's central focus was the release of the new US Army's 250th Birthday watercolour painting. The Virginia Military Institute's Color Guard also supported with posting and retiring the colors.

Celebrating the US Army's 250th Birthday
In January 2025, Solovey began concept work (left) on this future 2025 Watercolour. He ultimately depicted five historical Soldiers from 1775 to present. The work was so immensely popular that the US Army Center of Military History used it (center) on their official historical publication. Further, Solovey donated framed Print #35 to his headquarters during the unit's 250th Ceremony.

Supporting the American Rose Society, 2022
The successful launch of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, led to another great opportunity to venture-off into another genre in producing a patriotic piece for the entire Country of Rosarians

COVID-19
Within the first several months of 2020, the Nation was on the verge of a worldwide pandemic that still seems very surreal to this day. Many were told to stay at home & the telework paradigm became very real. Solovey immediately went to work & began sketching. The Nation needed something positive & unifying. Here is his first concept sketch.
"Providing Comfort & Mercy" June 2020
In early 2020, Solovey was stationed in Norfolk, Va. After finishing "American Unity", he then produced & released, "Providing Comfort & Mercy" pro bono in support of the two, respective vessel crews donating 500 prints, respectively. Solovey had the honor of meeting the Captain of the USNS Comfort berthed at Norfolk Naval Station.

On December 15th at the Danville Mall, Hallmark Store, Solovey was invited to publicly release the "Danville" historical lineage print & conduct a print signing for the local citizens.
