Original pencil collage.  Solovey had the honor when asked to compose this historical lineage collage for the WW II-era, African-American "Triple Nickel" Parachute Infantry Battalion (1943-1947). 

17 of the original 20 Black Paratroopers transferred over from the 92nd Infantry (Buffalo) Division.  Upon deactivation, unit members transferred to 3rd Bn, 505th PIR, 82nd Airborne Division.

From this original, only 25 Artist Proofs & 555 Prints were produced.
